Dr. Brooks has provided over 40 invited lectures and served as a panelist at several institutions including The Citadel, Charleston Southern University, East Tennessee State University, Coburg University, Mountain Home VA Medical Center, University of Chicago, DePaul University, Chicago Center for HIV Elimination, Hines VA Medical Center, Rutgers University, Loyola University Chicago, University of Illinois at Chicago, and Washington State University.
He has presented his research and continuing education workshops to numerous professional organizations including the American Psychological Association, American Public Health Association, Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, Society for Behavioral Medicine, Inter-Mountain Psychological Association, and Tennessee Psychological Association.
